Our group classes are a dynamic and social way for children to build strong musical foundations while having fun and connecting with others. Designed to suit different ages and stages, our small group programs blend creativity, confidence-building, and solid technique — all guided by passionate music educators.

Group lessons follow a structured curriculum while making space for each child’s individual growth. Students benefit from collaborative learning, peer motivation, and the joyful energy that comes from making music together. It's the perfect environment for beginners to start strong — and for young musicians to thrive in a supportive, inspiring setting.

We’ve found through many years of experience that students who learn the foundations of music in a group environment have more confidence to go forward in their learning, and are more likely to be team players.

Piano Classes

​Perfect for young musicians ready to begin their piano journey, our small group lessons (30 minutes) offer the ideal balance of structure, creativity, and fun. Using the renowned Piano Safari method, students build strong foundations in technique, rhythm, and musical expression — all while enjoying a playful, engaging learning environment.

Starting with correct posture and simple, memorable tunes, students progress naturally through Levels 1 to 3, each delivered across four school terms. Along the way, they’ll develop sight-reading skills, musical confidence, and a love of music that lasts a lifetime.

This program is designed to support all learning styles, encouraging collaboration, creativity, and consistent progress — without pressure.

Guitar Classes

Our Group Guitar Program introduces young musicians to the world of guitar through fun, structured, and engaging 30-minute weekly lessons. With a step-by-step approach, students develop confidence, musicality, and essential guitar skills in a supportive, social environment.

Starting with proper technique and simple, motivating tunes, your child will progress through four structured levels, each designed to build on the last over four school terms. Along the way, they’ll learn chords, strumming patterns, rhythm, and how to play songs they love — all while enjoying the process.

Each small group (4–6 students) offers a blend of individual attention and peer collaboration, helping students stay motivated and inspired. Our unique blend of play-based learning and structured progression means practice feels like fun — not a chore.

Vocal Classes

At Player 1, our vocal lessons are designed to help singers of all ages and experience levels find their voice — and love using it! Whether your goal is to sing pop, rock, musical theatre, or explore classical techniques, our teachers will guide you with skill, encouragement, and heart.

From your very first session, students are supported in building healthy vocal habits, improving confidence, and exploring the full potential of their voice. We focus on vocal technique, breath control, aural training, harmony, pitch, and stage presence — all taught in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way.

Each class blends technical foundations with creative exploration, so students develop strong musical skills while learning to express themselves authentically.

Our Combined Piano & Vocal Program is the perfect introduction for children who love to sing and want to build strong musical foundations on the piano. Designed for ages 7+, this program offers a dynamic blend of structured learning and expressive play through weekly 30-minute group classes.

Students learn to play piano with correct technique, read music, explore rhythm and melody — while also building vocal skills, including breath control, pitch accuracy, harmonies, and performance confidence.

Each class blends the creativity of singing with the discipline of piano in a way that’s engaging, age-appropriate, and fun. Using the **Piano Safari** method alongside playful vocal exercises, students progress through a well-structured curriculum that nurtures both musicianship and self-expression.
